The list: Plumbers exempted from lockdown
After President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that
South Africa will go on lockdown from 26 March 2020 to 16 April 2020, essential
and critical business continuity services will need to remain open to support
the health sector and to keep people healthy, safe, and secure.
During the course of the lockdown, various services
need to be maintained including essential infrastructure services. Public and
private organisations, their staff, and service providers essential to the
security of supply of bulk and potable water and sanitation must continue to
operate and provide vital water and sanitation services. This includes plumbers.
